Ntambaazi Richard

Richard Ntambaazi is the Head of Finance and Administration at AMBSO and a member of the Senior Management Team. In this role, he provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's financial, administrative, and operational functions, ensuring sound stewardship of resources, systems’ compliance, and institutional effectiveness in support of AMBSO's research and public health mission.

Over the course of nearly a decade, Richard has built a strong professional track record in finance management and administration, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility across public, non-profit, and international health research environments. His expertise spans financial planning and reporting, grant and donor fund management, corporate governance, risk management, and organizational systems strengthening, making him a critical contributor to AMBSO's continued growth and sustainability.

Richard holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the People (USA), a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting), and a Diploma in Business Administration. He is also a Certified Public Accountant - Uganda (CPA-U) Level III candidate. Richard is highly recognized for his integrity, accountability, and results-oriented leadership.
