Dr. Godfrey Kigozi is a distinguished epidemiologist and a founding member of the Africa Medical and Behavioral Sciences Organization (AMBSO). He has published extensively in high-impact journals, significantly contributing to the fields of HIV prevention and public health. As a senior scientist at AMBSO, Dr. Kigozi leads and collaborates on numerous clinical trials and epidemiological research projects.
Dr. Kigozi is currently the PI on a Gilead sponsored trial to test a twice yearly Lenacapavir injection for PrEP conducted at AMBSO’s Masaka Clinical Research Site.
