About This Project

Use of tobacco has become one of the major causes of premature deaths in most developing countries. Tobacco smoking is particularly higher among youths in Urban slums, thus putting them at high risk for non-communicable diseases.

To determine prevalence of tobacco use among youths aged 15-34 years, explore their motivation for continued smoking and examine perceptions of tobacco control implementers on smoking among youths in Uganda
