The study explored the role of religious institutions’ impact and potential in the control of the COVID 19 pandemic in Wakiso District, Uganda. It was a mixed methods phone based qualitative study that was conducted during the lock down period.
Data was collected at an un precidented time when the Corona Virus pandemic posed wide spread disruption of societal structures including travel restrictions, ban of communual gatherings, and other community functions.
