AMBSO was privileged to host representatives from the Africa Clinical Research Network (ACRN) during site selection visits conducted on 29th October 2025 and 7th November 2025 at its Masaka and Nansana sites.
The visiting delegation, comprising Dr. Tapiwa Chifamba and Mr. Knowledge Ushamba, engaged with the AMBSO team as part of ACRN’s mission to expand a network of strong, efficient, and clinical research-ready sites across Africa.
During the visits, both teams held productive discussions focused on aligning organizational missions and strategic goals. The engagements also provided an opportunity to showcase AMBSO’s operational capacity, including its community engagement systems, ongoing research studies, and readiness to support both national and international clinical research collaborations.
The visits concluded with comprehensive guided tours of the Masaka and Nansana facilities. The ACRN team interacted with staff across multiple departments and reviewed key infrastructure, including laboratory services, pharmacy operations, data management systems, quality control and regulatory processes, and IT systems.
