The heart of our mission of Transforming Africa through innovative research, training and Service provision is to drive Community-centered impact.

Since 2017, AMBSO has partnered closely with District authorities through the District Health Offices as well as the District Community Development Offices (DCDO) of Wakiso.

This local collaboration has empowered AMBSO to align its research and program efforts with regional health trends, priorities and ensure sustainable, and on-the-ground results in accordance with the Uganda Ministry of Health, and other Statutory regulatory guidelines.

This collaboration with the district through a valid Memoranda of Understanding with the Local authority is also aimed at fostering a population centered approach to service provision and research
