The heart of our mission of Transforming Africa through innovative research, training and Service provision is to drive Community-centered impact. Since 2017, AMBSO has partnered closely with District authorities through the District Health Offices as well as the District Community Development Offices (DCDO) of Hoima, Wakiso and the Greater Masaka region districts such as Masaka, Kyotera, Lwengo, amongst others. These local collaborations have empowered AMBSO to align our research and program efforts with regional health trends, priorities and ensure sustainable, and on-the-ground results in accordance with the Uganda Ministry of Health, and other Statutory regulatory guidelines.
